Sladek said he observed an inspector posting a “do not occupy unsafe structure” placard on the home while he was delivering his letter to the post office. “I just wanted to offer if there's any way that I can further assist the county, Development Services with this, I'd be glad to do that,” Sladek said, offering his professional assistance and asking that the county follow up on remediation or enforcement steps.
