DuPage County committee approves amendments reducing federal funding on two road projects; OKs traffic signal maintenance agreement with property owner

The committee voted to approve Amendment DTR 01-86-A-17, decreasing federal participation for improvements along County Highway 43 (County Farm Road) by $91,225.53 — an 18.93% reduction — resulting in a final county cost reported on the agenda as $390,619.47 (a change described in the agenda as a 42.71% reduction). The committee later approved Amendment DTR 00-29-18, reducing federal participation for County Highway 55 (Great Western Trail Improvements) by $15,860.45, resulting in a final county cost of $71,771.55 and a stated decrease of 18.1%.
