Rob Roberts, chief deputy prosecutor for Vigo County, told the Vigo County Council that Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) notified prosecutors on May 2 that it had accepted a bid from PCG Indiana (Public Consulting Group) to operate the state’s Adult Protective Services (APS) program.
Roberts said funding that had been proposed to assist county prosecutors through state legislation was “stripped out at the last second,” and described a procurement process that changed after proposals were received. “They then decided to change the criteria and indicated that if you would like to continue with the bidding or the RFP process that you would have to come in at under $6,500,000 per year,”…
