A partnership participant raised a CHAPA (Citizens' Housing and Planning Association) call for support of proposed amendments to the FY'26 housing budget during the May 5 Northampton Housing Partnership meeting and noted the letter was circulated on April 25.
One speaker said, “Can't do anything as a group with it, but, it's time, for us to start thinking about what, state government is gonna be doing next year.” Another participant asked whether signing as an organization was allowed; a participant noted the posting arrived between meetings and that the letter may be too late for coordinated sign-on but the policy issue remains timely.
Because the meeting did not have a quorum, the partnership did not take any formal action on the CHAPA letter at the session.
