County leaders said inclusion of a bus stop at the DMV would improve access for residents, especially those without cars, and support transit connections to county services.
Board action: The Board approved the letter and asked staff to add an opening line identifying the request as coming on behalf of the Clay County Board of Commissioners. Staff will send the letter to Fargo with copies to MATBUS and other local stakeholders and will request that transit planners consider adding a stop or amending routes to serve the DMV site.
