Council liaison: Snoqualmie splash pad opens June 6; retail overlay moved to council

"We will have our opening day on June 6, at, from 2 to 4PM," Johnson said. He added that the council toured the site previously and that only minor fixtures remain to finish.
Johnson also said the city is close to finalizing a utility rate-study report; council is likely to receive a staff report at the next council meeting that will be available to the public. Lastly, Johnson told the Planning Commission that the community development committee has forwarded the retail overlay amendments to the full council; council will review code amendments first and then consider a resolution to amend the mixed-use final plan, likely in two batches over the following weeks.
