The Board of Commissioners awarded ITB 25‑ITB‑088 to McClendon Enterprises Inc. for the T‑Splas maintenance resurfacing program covering approximately 18.6 miles across Districts 3, 4 and 5, county procurement staff said May 6.
The scope calls for patching, leveling and resurfacing using GDOT standards across 26 locations; McClendon was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder among five offers. The contract sets completion within 270 days of the notice to proceed and includes standard GDOT‑style paving requirements.
County staff said the procurement followed normal bid evaluation and recommended award; the board approved the contract. Work scheduling and coordination with county engineering will follow so crews can be mobilized in phases and traffic control plans implemented.
