District presents strategic plan scorecard draft and continuous performance (CPR) action plan

District administrators briefed the board on progress implementing a new five-year strategic plan, including a proposed district-level scorecard and a related internal action plan the administration calls the Continuous Performance Report (CPR) card.
The presentation recapped a facilitated planning process with board members, parents, principals and staff that produced a mission, vision, pillars and commitments. Consultant Joe Schroeder led the initial sessions, and the administration conducted a follow-up mini-session with principals and directors to translate priorities into measurable metrics.
Administrators said the scorecard will be a one-page dashboard the board and public can use to monitor district health across pillars such as student engagement, staff supports, family and community partnerships, and operations. The CPR card is an operational action plan for administrators and directors that maps actions, owners and timelines tied to the scorecard’s metrics. The administration said it will finalize the metrics and actions over the summer and expects a first formal scorecard update in January 2026. The scorecard will be published on the district website after board review.
Staff emphasized they want the strategic plan and scorecard to be concise and actionable rather than a large set of metrics, and they described plans to align building-level continuous improvement plans with the district-level strategy during principals’ August planning sessions.
