Napoleon’s interim city manager reported at the meeting that the city and the police union reached agreement to open a one-year contract focusing on wages and that the parties agreed to a 5% wage increase for the contract term.
According to the manager’s remarks, the one-year contract will run Dec. 1, 2025, through Nov. 30, 2026. The manager said the wage offer had previously been agreed upon between the former city manager and council.
The manager’s remarks were presented as an update; council did not take further action on the contract at the meeting.
