Napoleon City Council voted to direct the law director to prepare legislation to transfer 15.705 acres of city-owned land on Glenwood Avenue to the Community Improvement Corporation of Henry County.
Jennifer Arps of the Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) described the proposed real-estate purchase agreement as allowing Vernon Nagle to use the parcel for temporary and permanent materials storage and staging of equipment. Council asked the law director to draft the necessary documents and authorized staff to proceed to formalize the transfer.
The vote to direct the law director carried on roll call; staff will return with draft legislation for council consideration.
