Commission approves LMIG/LRA road funding recommendations for county resurfacing projects

During the discussion commissioners negotiated reallocation options and confirmed that LMIG and LRA are distinct funding pots: LMIG requires a 30% local match and is budgeted separately, whereas LRA funds are supplementary. Commissioner discussion also covered shifting proposed funds between targeted roads should priorities change. The board then voted to approve the LMIG/LRA request as presented and authorized the engineer to submit the application.
