Woodstock CUSD 200 canvasses school board vote totals; no challenges filed

WOODSTOCK, Ill. — The Woodstock CUSD 200 Board of Education publicly canvassed vote totals for recent school board candidates at its May 6, 2025, meeting and said there were no requests or challenges to the results.
Board members read the vote counts aloud during the meeting. The board recorded the following totals: Bruce Sportbears, 2,657; Jacob Baldwin, 2,471; John Percy, 2,438; and Carl Gilmore, 2,337. Board officials said there was no official action to be taken after the canvass.
Michelle, identified in the meeting as administering the oath, led winners (or those being sworn) through the oath. Meeting minutes show no public requests to alter the canvass and no formal challenges were filed during the session.
The canvass was conducted as part of the board's new-business agenda; board members did not take additional votes related to the canvass during the meeting.
