Key awards announced by county staff included: - Wilman Hill subdivision (Project 2502): Calcar (low responsive bidder) — $219,653.95 - 75 North / Project 2503 (75 North): E & B Paving — $70,745.00 (low responsive bid reported) - Countrywood Estates subdivision (Project 2504): E & B Paving — $52,990.00 - 400 West (Project 2505): Calcar base bid for county portion — $59,542.70 (alternate city portion to be handled separately) - 540 East / 1150 South (Project 2506): Calcar — $141,096.50 - New Orleans Road / Morton Hill / 900 East (Project 2507): Calcar — $187,667.50
Commissioners noted that one project (project 2505) included an alternate portion within the city of Honeyburg; that city will determine whether to reimburse the county for the city portion. Highway staff said all bid documents will remain available publicly for inspection and that contracts will be executed after formal paperwork and insurance documents are confirmed.
