Council advances creation of Sustainability Commission and initial appointees to full council

Canal Winchester City Council voted on May 5 to forward a resolution creating a Sustainability Commission and a second resolution with the mayor’s initial appointments to the full council for final consideration.

The proposal implements a recommendation from the city’s community plan to form a citizen advisory panel to advise city staff and council on sustainability and related programs.
