City Planner Robin Houston told commissioners the changes are a cleanup and implementation step following the comprehensive plan. “Out of the 618 mixed use parcels reviewed, only 29 parcels required updates,” Houston said, and staff identified a set of parcels that would become nonconforming under the proposed map changes. Houston added that the commission had also corrected omissions and clarified new cannabis‑related language in the zoning tables.
