The council approved a request from Lincoln Firefighters Local 3092 to close various city streets on May 17, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for a Local 3092 5K run/walk and approved an amended request from Lincoln Community High School to close a street on May 3, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a program called the Grama March. Alderman O'Donoghue moved to approve; Alderman Sanders seconded. The roll call showed a majority in favor with Alderman Dennis L. Clemens Sr. recorded as abstaining.
The consent agenda passed and the council proceeded to scheduled business.
