Board approves removal of old radio room, lease update and exterior painting at airport FBO hangar

Separately, the board approved an updated lease with Nielsen Hanger LLC for 3,116 square feet of the FBO hangar. The updated lease will take effect once demolition and necessary building work are complete and the start date is mutually agreed with the tenant.
Finally, trustees reviewed two painting bids for exterior work on the FBO hangar. The board accepted the lower bid from Painters USA (formerly Lakeside Painting) to pressure wash, tuck‑point as needed, clean and repaint the hangar exterior for $19,147. The motion to approve the painting contract carried by voice vote.
