The board approved an expansion of an interlocal agreement with the City of Castle Rock to add floodplain management administration to services the county already provides, and renewed a five-year interlocal arrangement with Metro to allow emergency landfill disposal options when road access to Metro facilities is disrupted.
The board also approved a data-sharing agreement between Cowlitz County Emergency Medical Service District No. 1 and the Office of the Washington State Auditor to permit state auditors access to confidential records as part of a compliance audit. Two vendors, Gardner Rock Inc. and LROC Industries, were awarded contracts for road surfacing materials for the period beginning May 1, 2025 through February (year not specified in the record).
The consent agenda record included vouchers in the amount of $988,009.47 and 28 cents. A commissioner moved to approve the consent agenda and the board adopted it by unanimous voice vote.
No ordinance or new recurring program was created in the consent approvals; the actions were approvals of procurement, interlocal cooperation and routine financial vouchers.
