Fargo HRC approves agenda and minutes, schedules strategic planning meeting May 14

The commission agreed to hold a strategic planning meeting on Wednesday, May 14 at noon in the Meadowlark; Brenda, a city staff member, confirmed she was available and said, “the fourteenth will work just fine.” Members agreed to combine agenda-setting time with the strategic-planning session and to pause the regular dais meeting for May so that the commission could focus on strategic planning. The commission also confirmed its next regular HRC meeting would be June 19.
Members discussed whether to keep the regular third-Thursday calendar and whether to hold some planning subcommittee meetings monthly; no formal subcommittee was created at this meeting. The decisions about the May meeting date and the combined agenda-setting/strategic-planning session were recorded as the commission’s scheduling outcomes for follow-up.
