Bass reported several season figures: roughly 15,000 rounds played since Oct. 1 (as stated in the meeting), 3,516 golf balls sold through the pro shop, about 14,529 beers sold and nearly 3,800 hot dogs served at the course’s snack bar. He described the pro shop as functioning near expectations for a first season and said player‑development card sales have begun.
Bass also explained turf concerns tied to an unusually cold winter: a handful of days with nighttime temperatures near or below freezing reduced grass vigor on new plantings. He said the course will aerate mid‑month and expects the turf to recover as warmer weather returns.
No formal action was taken; commissioners thanked Bass and course staff for the presentation.
