Council approves three appointments to historical commission and housing authority

Councilors voted 9–0 with two members absent (Councilors Tenari Garcia and Kelly Garcia), and the clerk announced the vote as approved with nine in favor.
Council members thanked departing board members for their unpaid service and welcomed the incoming volunteers. Councilors noted the time and health constraints that led some previous members to step down and emphasized the need for volunteers to serve on unpaid boards.
The council moved the appointments under suspension and approved them by roll-call vote.
