Human resources staff told the board the superintendent recommended adoption of the personnel slate with one correction: a Jefferson Middle School summer‑program secretary had been listed for 23 days and should be compensated for 12 days. The board approved the slate on a roll call vote.
The board welcomed Allison Gleeson as principal of Rachel Lindsay (following her interim assignment) and approved other administrative moves, including assistant principal assignments at high‑school sites; staff noted one long‑time administrator, Brian Caton, is retiring. Several newly appointed administrators appeared in the boardroom and were introduced during the meeting.
On discipline, the board adopted a resolution to expel one ninth‑grade student from Southeast High School through the end of the 2025–26 school year with a program; the motion passed unanimously.
Board members and staff also acknowledged corrections and explained next steps for onboarding new leaders and completing summer staffing assignments.
