The common council voted to reapprove a revised lease agreement with the National Guard after the Guard's legal team requested minor clarifying changes following initial approval last fall.
City staff said the lease had been presented and approved previously; the Guard's legal review prompted the service to request a small number of clarifying edits. Staff described the changes as minor and primarily clarifying in nature and recommended reapproval so the agreement could be signed.
Alderpersons moved and seconded the item; no substantive questions were raised and the council approved reauthorization by voice vote. The amended lease will be signed by the authorized officials and returned to the National Guard.
