The action includes direction that notice be provided to the Tennessee Department of Human Services as part of the lease discontinuation. The remodeling authorization instructs the county mayor to negotiate remodeling services for OEM up to, but not exceeding, $117,506. Mayor Davis also asked that a memorandum of understanding tied to a previously approved growth-boundary matter be included in the meeting minutes so the record will show the MOU was received and entered at tonight’s meeting.
No amendments to the motions were recorded and no public comment was taken specifically on the lease or the OEM remodeling during the item.
