The Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Greenwich on April 22 approved a 90-day extension for the Bridgeport Roman Catholic Diocesan Corporation to record a subdivision map for a 51.375-acre lot at 35 Parsonage (also shown in materials as Arsenage) Road in the RA-1 zone.
The extension allows the applicant additional time to finalize language on the subdivision mylar related to sight-line and related subdivision-level issues. The commission voted 5-0 to grant the extension and to carry forward all conditions of the commission’s original January 7, 2025 approval.
Commission staff read the motion into the record citing the applicant’s request for a 90-day extension “to record the required subdivision map per section 6.2.7.9 of the subdivision regulations.” The motion set the new expiration date for the extension at July 28, 2025. Commissioners Yeske, Lowe, Scribe, Wells and Alban voted in favor.
Tom D'Andrea, representing the applicant at the hearing, told the commission the parties were “working out some language for the subdivision map with the law department that has to do with some sight line issues and some other things” and that additional field work had been completed to help resolve them.
No members of the public spoke on the request. The record does not show any additional conditions added at the April 22 action; the commission confirmed that all original approval conditions remain in effect while the map is recorded.
The commission asked staff to continue tracking the filing deadline and to return if further extensions or changes are requested.
