The Fall River Board of Health voted April 28 to approve a tattoo-practitioner application for Michelle Guevat of Taunton to work at Fall River Tattoo Company, 1412 South Main Street in Fall River.
Board staff presented Guevat’s application and supporting documents, and staff recommended approval after verifying required training. Josh, a department staff member, said Guevat had previously tattooed in Taunton and had submitted required documentation, including bloodborne-pathogen training, CPR and first-aid certification. The board moved and seconded approval, and a roll-call vote recorded Thomas Corey, Michael Coughlin and Steven Gagliardi voting yes.
The board did not attach additional conditions to the practitioner license during the meeting. The applicant was wished luck by board members after the vote.
