City staff used the May 5 community zoning information meeting to remind applicants of filing and hearing deadlines and to note a temporary finance‑system transition that has delayed invoicing.
Staff said the public participation plan report (Form E) is due June 9, planning commission hearings are scheduled for June 18, and the mayor and council public hearing is scheduled for July 8. Staff also reminded applicants that property signs for public notification must be posted by May 27 and that a notarized sign affidavit is required with the application packet.
A planner said the city’s finance department is transitioning to a new payment system, and the transition has slowed the invoicing and payment confirmation process; staff asked applicants to be patient and said mailed notices of public participation meetings will be sent as dates are firmed.
Staff encouraged applicants to hold their public participation meetings and to forward completed Form E to planning staff by the June 9 deadline; applicants with questions were directed to planning staff emails and to upcoming community meeting dates announced by individual applicants during the session.
