Bureau reports 926 active movers, 51 permits issued; enforcement and tariff revisions underway

The Bureau of Household Goods and Services told its advisory council that 926 household movers currently hold active licenses and that 51 household mover permits have been issued since the program’s launch.
"The bureau has issued 51 household mover permits," Jacqueline of the licensing unit told the council. She added that 89 exams had been taken since July 2018 with a 67 percent passing rate and that testing is being delivered by PSI in Southern California and by the bureau in Northern California.
