Board hears April early childhood events, including First Things First celebration at Calabasas School

Padilla said his employer, First Things First, will host its annual First Things First young child community event on April 12 at Calabasas School from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. “We host a, an annual event... it’ll be at Calabasas School... and it’ll be from 10 to 1,” Padilla told the board.
Padilla said library staff are coordinating National Library Week activities to coincide with the Week of the Young Child and that the libraries will invite families with children ages 0–5 to arts and crafts and other early‑learning activities. He said flyers for the April events should be ready to share with trustees in the following week.
