Goodwin University told to submit feasibility details for Waterbury site; board approves new undergraduate nursing director

Reiners suggested that an abbreviated approach that references earlier pages and appends Waterbury-specific sections could expedite review. The board indicated a feasibility study is required; Goodwin agreed to supply the requested details.
Appointment approved: The board also considered and approved Goodwin University's request to appoint Heather Massacott as director of undergraduate nursing programs (associate-degree and BSN). Goodwin presented Massacott's academic credentials (MSN; DNP in progress at Sacred Heart University; ASN from Three Rivers Community College) and leadership background. Salvatore Diaz recused himself from that vote because of an institutional affiliation; the remaining board members approved the appointment by roll-call vote (Cindy Arpin, Mary Dieteman, Lisa Freeman, Camille Payne, Elizabeth Rivera Rodriguez, Diane Whitley and Chair Gina Reiners voted aye).
