Trustees asked for price information; staff cited a rough cost estimate for another 100 meters of about $35,000 to $40,000. Board members asked that staff obtain the invoice and bring it back for approval; staff said the purchase process will proceed through the invoice and payment approval when the vendor invoice arrives.

Trustees and staff also discussed vendor consistency and software: staff said the goal is to order meters of the same brand to avoid multiple software platforms and that the village has replaced about 280 of an estimated 1,200 meters to date. No formal vote authorizing a specific dollar amount was recorded at the meeting; staff will return with invoice documentation for board approval.
