The Murfreesboro City Council on May 1 approved task order No. 4 with Gresham Smith for construction administration services on the Veterans Park project, under the citys master services agreement.
A staff presenter described the services as site visits, document review and deliverables to ensure contract requirements and project quality. He said the task order is an hourly-rate contract not to exceed $150,000 and is funded by the capital improvement program (CIP) budget. "These administrative services from the engineer are required throughout the construction process," the presenter said.
