The Chino Valley Unified Board of Education announced at its May 1 meeting that it appointed Whitney Fields as director of risk management and human resources following closed session deliberations.

The board disclosed the appointment upon reconvening the open meeting. By unanimous vote of 5–0, with boardmembers Cervantes, Cruz, Monroe, Naugh and Shaw voting yes, the board appointed Whitney Fields to the position. The district said the effective date for the appointment will be determined and no further action was required in open session.
