The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education on April 29 approved personnel actions including the appointment of Jessica Cincotta as Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services and Planning and Rosalind Bartholomew as assistant principal at High School North.
Superintendent Dr. David Aderhold introduced Jessica Cincotta, the current principal of High School South, saying she will join central office in July after finishing the school year at South. He described her prior experience as assistant principal at High School North and administrative roles in Lawrence and elsewhere.
Aderhold also introduced Rosalind Bartholomew, appointed assistant principal at High School North. He said Bartholomew comes from Hillside High School, where she served as assistant principal for two years after a 24-year career as a social-studies teacher.
The board approved the personnel items by roll-call vote after a motion by Shweta and Liz; roll-call statements in the public record show the motion carried with affirmative votes from members present.
Retirements acknowledged
Administrators also announced several retirements the board recorded at the meeting: a Wyckoff School nurse (named in the public record as Maura Jean Hielle) retiring after 29 years of service, a physical-education teacher (named Maurice Hawk) retiring after 40½ years, and other long-serving staff. Aderhold thanked each employee for their years of service.
What this means
- Jessica Cincotta will transition to central office as Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services and Planning beginning in July; she will complete the current school year as principal at High School South prior to assuming the central-office role.
- Rosalind Bartholomew will join High School North’s administrative team as assistant principal, also beginning in July.
- The retirements noted were recognized by the board; staffing changes will be managed by the administration as part of routine personnel transitions.
Ending
Board members welcomed the appointees and thanked retiring staff members for decades of service to the district. The meeting proceeded to committee reports and remaining agenda items.
