The Monroe County Board of Commissioners on May 1 approved a $275 contract to cover booth rental for YSB and the Safe Place program at the Owen County Fair, July 9–11.

YSB representative Jamieson, joining by Teams, said the booth is an outreach opportunity to promote Safe Place and YSB programs to youth and families; the organization distributes promotional items and information each night of the fair. Commissioners expressed support for the program’s outreach work during summer events.

The board approved the contract by voice vote, 3-0. No public comment was offered on the item.
