Council adopted an amendment to the Tech Ridge development agreement (Ordinance 2025-036) that removes section 5.2 (grant of options) and replaces it with revised language to permit the developer to acquire the remaining Tech Ridge property in a single transaction.
Staff reviewed the original and proposed amended contract language included in the council packet and showed the remaining property affected by the change. Planning commission held a public hearing on April 22 and received one public comment concerning the extent of the take-down area; the commission forwarded a positive recommendation (6-0) to council.
Councilmember Steve Kemp moved to approve the amendment; the roll-call vote was unanimous. Staff noted the packet contains the full text of the amendment and that the developer may proceed once the amended agreement is recorded and other conditions of the development agreement are satisfied.
