The Nantucket Finance Committee on May 1 processed several minor technical amendments and procedural items ahead of Annual Town Meeting.
The committee approved a technical amendment correcting a date in the warrant (change March 6 to March 5). The committee also recorded motions to take no action on two separate articles: one that the select board voted on April 16 not to forward and another article where parcel listings were incomplete; planning staff said they would rework the item for future consideration. Committee members voted to take no action as requested by staff and the select board.
Votes were recorded by roll call. These items were treated as procedural and moved quickly so the committee could proceed to remaining agenda items and adjourn on schedule.
