The South Lebanon City Council on May 1 approved Emergency Resolution 2025-16 approving the city’s intent to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit property by Internet auction and to enter into a contract with GovDeals for that purpose.
Mayor Burke said the city performs this process annually and presented the emergency resolution. Council member Tom Combs moved to waive the second-reading rule; Joan Carmack seconded. After the waiver passed, Mary Anne Harrison moved to approve by title only and Tom Combs seconded. The council voted in favor and the mayor declared the motion carried.
The transcript records that the action is routine and recurring; it does not list specific items to be sold, the estimated proceeds, or the contract term with GovDeals.
