Casabella development request continued to July 17 at county planning meeting

Casabella Development LLC’s request to change zoning for a parcel in District 4 was continued to the July 17 Planning & Zoning meeting after the applicant asked for more time to resolve engineering design issues. Kim Rzenka, representing Casabella Development LLC, told the Board on May 1 that her client needed additional design work and asked that the item be carried to July 17.
The continuance keeps the application active on the board’s calendar but postpones any decision until the applicant returns with updated engineering information. The request was made during the public hearing portion of H1, and the Board granted the continuance by formal motion.
Board members who voted were Commissioner Delaney, Vice Chair Goodson, Commissioner Atkinson, Commissioner Altman and Chairman Feltner. The clerk recorded the roll-call vote as unanimous.
The continuance preserves the applicant’s right to return for a full hearing; it does not reflect any policy or technical determination by the County. Additional submission requirements and any staff comments will be considered when the item is reheard July 17.
Meeting attendees were directed to follow the July 17 agenda for the item’s next appearance.
