Board clarifies where multifamily and mixed-use development is allowed in Brentwood

Staff replied that while multifamily is allowed in the commercial strip, current rules do not permit commercial and residential use on the same property in some areas and that separate mixed-use language would be required to explicitly allow both uses on a parcel.
Board members discussed whether to call out the commercial corridor (Route 125 / North Road area) more clearly on forum posters and maps. Staff agreed to change map labels and add a map key so that residents can see where multifamily or mixed-use would be proposed and where conventional residential zoning would remain.
