North Babylon homeowner’s replacement sunroom draws neighbor objection; board reserves decision

Lori Piletti appeared before the Town of Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals for application 25057 regarding a replacement sunroom at her North Babylon property.
Piletti said the original sunroom had deteriorated from water damage and was removed; "we put 1 in the exact same spot, with a, a real foundation rather than, the cement footings," she told the board. Planning and environmental-control memos were in the file and photos and a site plan were submitted. The board confirmed the structure would be a three-season sunroom without heating or plumbing.
A nearby neighbor, Prudence Loconti of 328 Glint Street, said she objected because the addition is "too close to my property" and noted the lot was small. The board heard the neighbor's concern, closed the hearing and reserved decision. The applicant will receive a written decision by mail.
