The Cocoa Beach City Commission approved a budgeted scope of services for engineering and design in the amount of $168,756 for a clarifier rehabilitation project at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
Public Works and Water Reclamation Director Brad Calso presented the item and the commission voted to approve the scope as a budgeted item. Staff said the project is eligible for State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan funds.
No discussion of contract award or construction timelines occurred at the meeting; the vote authorized the engineering and design phase, and staff will return with procurement and financing details in subsequent agenda items as design advances.
