Council highlights youth cleanup, tech-recycle drive and Easter events

At the end of the April 15 meeting, council members highlighted community events and volunteer efforts. Councilor Staley reported Kingman Youth Advisory Commission members ran a park cleanup at Centennial Park and committed to twice-monthly cleanups; she also noted youth projects to assemble beds for children in need. Councilor Dikens announced a technology recycling drive on Saturday, April 19 (8:30 a.m.–noon) hosted by Mohave Community College Computer Club and City of Kingman Public Works at 3700 East Andy Devine Avenue, and reminded residents about Parks & Recreation’s Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on April 19 (two sessions, preregistration required).
Vice Mayor Samuley and other councilors offered brief thanks and Easter greetings before adjourning the meeting.
