Board members moved and seconded the resolution in open session and recorded six affirmative votes: Mister Elliott, Miss Greger, Miss Watson, Miss Sabata, Mister Musacchio and Mister Coy. The motion was moved by Mister Elliott and seconded by Miss Greger.
The bank designation will allow the board to accept funds from the participating political subdivisions and to pay consultants and vendors as the district forms. No additional conditions or contingencies were stated during the vote; staff said they would forward required bank application materials to the treasurer for completion.
The board’s next steps include completing the bank account paperwork and reporting back to the partner jurisdictions as required by the intergovernmental agreement.
