The Delhi Township Board of Trustees approved a series of resolutions (Resolutions 2025-57 through 2025-67 and related items) declaring nuisance conditions for excess vegetation and accumulated debris at multiple addresses across the township.
Community Development Director Mike Roach presented photos and summaries for each property. The cited violations included tall grass, discarded tree branches on vacant lots, debris stored under decks, and miscellaneous items in driveways. Roach and staff told trustees many cases involved repeat offenders and that the department follows inspection and notice procedures before seeking board action.
One resolution (2025-67) certified abatement expenses at 598 Claymore Terrace to the county auditor for assessment on the property tax duplicate, a procedural step trustees approved to recover costs of abatement. Trustees dispensed with second readings and adopted each resolution by roll call where shown.
Ending: Administration will follow the nuisance-abatement process, schedule cleanups where needed, and return any cost accounting to the trustees and county auditor as required by law.
