At the May 1, 2025 meeting of the Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics the executive director reported that staff conducted extensive outreach in April, visiting municipal governments and community groups across the county and launching multiple items to mark the commission's 15th anniversary.
The executive director told commissioners that staff attended events with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a junior achievement event at Jaga Bridal School, and that staff members met with municipal officials in the Town of Lake Park; the City of Pahokee; Ocean Ridge; Lake Clarke Shores; Cloud Lake; Palm Beach; Greenacres; South Palm Beach; Manalapan; Jupiter Inlet Colony; Mangonia Park; Royal Palm Beach; the City of Atlantis; the Village of Golf; Belle Glade; Briny Breezes; Wellington; Delray Beach; and West Palm Beach.
To mark 15 years of operation the commission published a newsletter on or before the May 1 meeting, arranged a special feature to air on Channel 20, and planned social media posts throughout May. The executive director also said Palm Tran was coordinating production of a bus wrap bearing the commission's logo; staff said they would announce when the wrapped bus appears in service.
Commissioner Verbano thanked staff member Mister Radcliffe for inviting the commissioner to a Palm Beach County League of Cities meeting; no other commissioners raised substantive questions about the outreach report. The executive director's remarks were presented as informational; no formal direction, action or staff assignment tied to the outreach update was recorded in the transcript.
