Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics approves April minutes, processed advisory opinions

On May 1, 2025, the Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics voted to approve the minutes of its April 3 meeting and to adopt two processed advisory opinions listed on the consent agenda.

The approvals occurred early in the meeting after roll call. Vice Chair Cruz called the roll and members answered present. A motion to approve the April 3, 2025 minutes carried after commissioners called for the question and the commission voiced their approval. Later in the consent portion the commission moved, seconded and voted to adopt the processed advisory opinions described on the agenda as RQO 25-5 and RQO 25-6; the chair announced all in favor and the ayes prevailed.

The items were handled on the consent agenda; no member requested that any item be pulled for separate discussion. The meeting record indicates routine procedural approval rather than extended debate or substantive amendment to the advisory opinions.

Roll-call and attendance statements during the meeting show Vice Chair Cruz, Chair Bridal, Commissioner Kugler, Commissioner Romano and Commissioner Varro Garcia as present at the roll call. The clerk conducted the roll call as the meeting opened.
