Meadowfield parents urge broader principal search, cite repeated turnover

The commenters requested that staff prioritize teacher and staff input and that the district address an anticipated kindergarten staffing shortfall for next year.
In-person speakers also thanked district leadership for restoring homecoming traditions at a high school and asked for consistent facility-use rules for tailgating; they separately raised concerns about a foundation's use of school facilities and requested clearer accounting and facility-use payments when outside groups use school property.
Superintendent and staff did not make an immediate staffing action during public comment; parents asked the board and administration to ensure adequate community notice and staff engagement during the principal-selection process.
