The West Haymarket Joint Public Agency approved a package of contracts and purchase orders for Pinnacle Bank Arena equipment and facility upgrades, covering website redesign, lighting and parking equipment, seating work, parking lot lighting and concession fryers.
The JPA approved a contract with AXS Digital for a Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Theater website redesign at a cost not to exceed $80,000. Staff said AXS Digital currently hosts the arena website and was deemed the best proposer in a recent request for proposals.
Separately, the board authorized the purchase of event‑level hallway LED fixtures from Voss Lighting for up to $58,898 and approved a unit price contract with Wired Inc. for installation costs not to exceed $32,900. Board members were told the project will replace older fluorescent fixtures near dressing rooms with ceiling‑mounted LED fixtures to improve back‑of‑house lighting and ambiance.
The JPA also approved an amendment to extend the Erwin Seating Company contract to June 1, 2025; staff confirmed the extension carries no additional cost. For garage revenue equipment, the board approved a purchase order to Amano McGann Inc. for gate reader technology at a cost not to exceed $51,291.50; staff said this equipment is consistent with the city’s other parking garages to allow system interoperability.
Other approvals included a purchase order to Lincoln Win Electric for parking lot light fixture retrofit kits for up to $30,206 and the purchase of two fryer units from Chef's Deal Restaurant Equipment Company for arena concessions, not to exceed $57,827.63.
All motions passed on unanimous 3‑0 roll calls. No public comment was offered on these items during the meeting; several board members disclosed past work relationships with vendors and staff confirmed no conflict of interest for the contract actions.
