Staff estimated a roughly two-month construction period once the contractor mobilizes; the earliest start would be early June, weather permitting.
The ordinance was introduced for consideration and will return for formal approval at the May 12 council meeting when the council may award the contract. Staff noted the bids came in under the grant amount, leaving contingency funds for related work or contract administration.
